Grand Opening of AERN Center in Sumter County

The Sumter County Chamber of Commerce held its grand opening of the AERN Center on July 26, 2011 in Livingston. The Chamber's executive director, Allison Tucker, co-hosted a reception at the Chamber office along with AERN Co-Directors Annette Watters and Paavo Hanninen, and Outreach Coordinator Mary Patterson. The event was well-attended by local officials including Mayor Tom Tartt (City of Livingston), Dr. Ken Tucker (UWA) and Kay Presley (Representative Terri Sewell's office). Ms. Tucker believes that the AERN is a natural extension of the Chamber's mission to engage the community with workshops and training on business development with the goal of increasing prosperity in Sumter County. AERN Co-Director Annette Watters is excited to have Sumter County back in the AERN family with the Chamber as our new partner.
